The story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

قصة سنووايت و الأقزام السبعة

The story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs began when Princess Snow White was sitting by the window, sewing her clothes. However, the needle pricked her finger, causing drops of blood to fall onto the garment she was sewing. She was taken by the color of the red blood against the white snow, and at that moment, the princess said: “I wish to have a child as white as snow, as red as blood, and as black as night.

After some time, God blessed the princess with a daughter whom she named Snow White.

بدأت قصة سنووايت و الأقزام السبعة عندما كانت تجلس الأميرة سنووايت الأم بالقرب من النافذة تحيك ملابسها، ولكن  الإبرة شكت إصبعها فجعلتها تسقط قطرات دم على ثوبها التي كانت تحيكه، فأعجبها لون الدم الأحمر مع الثلج الأبيض ، وقالت الأميرة حينذلك : ليتني أرزق مولوداً أبيض كالثلج وأحمر كالدم وأسود كالليل.

وبعد مرور بعض الوقت رزق الله الأميرة بطفلة أسمتها بياض الثلج.

The king married a new queen, and his new wife was very impressed by her beauty. She had a magic mirror hanging on the wall, and she would ask it: “Oh, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest lady in all the land?

تزوج الملك من ملكة جديدة ، وكانت زوجته الجديدة شديدة الإعجاب بجمالها،  وكان لها مرآة سحرية تعلقه على الجدار، و تقول لها: يا أيتها المرآة المعلقة على الجدار من هي أجمل سيدة من بين السيدات في جميع أنحاء هذه البلاد؟

The mirror would reply to her, saying: “You are the most beautiful of them all, and it swore that the whiteness of snow is the most enchanting beauty.

This beautiful queen becomes angry because there is someone more beautiful than her. She went and asked the hunter to take Snow White into the forest and kill her. However, Snow White pleaded with the hunter not to kill her and to tell the witch that she had been killed. The hunter agreed and let her go far into the forest.

فكانت ترد عليها المرآة وتقول لها : أنتِ أجملهن، وتقسم لها بياض الثلج هي أجمل فتنة.

فتغضب هذه الملكة الجميلة لأنه هناك من هو أجمل منها، وذهبت وطلبت من الصياد أن يأخذ بياض الثلج في الغابة ويقتلها، ولكن بياض الثلج توسلت إلى الصياد بأن لا يقتلها ويقول للساحرة بأنها قتلت،  وافق الصياد وتركها تذهب بعيداً في الغابة.

Snow White fled to a distant cottage where seven dwarfs lived. She told them her story and asked to stay with them to protect herself from the queen who wanted to kill her, promising that she would clean the cottage and cook for them.

After a while, the queen asked the mirror: Who is the fairest lady among the ladies of this land? The woman’s response was very shocking, as she said: “Oh queen, you are very beautiful, but I speak the truth. I swear that Snow White is not dead and that she is more beautiful than you. She is still alive in a small house far away, situated on a hill.

هربت بياض الثلج في كوخ بعيد يعيش في هذا الكوخ سبعة من الأقزام، وحكت لهم قصتها وطلبت منهم بأن تعيش معهم حتى تحتمي من  الملكة التي تريد قتلها، وأنها سوف تقوم بتنظيف الكوخ وطهي الطعام لهم.

وبعد فترة، سألت الملكة المرآة: من هي أجمل سيدة بين سيدات هذه البلاد؟ وكان رد المرآة صادم جدًا، حيث قالت: أيتها الملكة أنتِ جميلة جدا ولكنني أقول الحقيقة، أقسم أن بياض الثلج لم تمت وأنها الأجمل منكِ.

The queen tried once again to kill Snow White, but the dwarfs always saved her, until the day came when Snow White did not survive the assassination attempt.

The queen succeeded in killing her after deceiving her and making her eat a poisoned apple, causing her to lose consciousness and die.

حاولت الملكة ممن جديد قتل بياض الثلج، إلا أن الأقزام كانوا دائمًا ما ينقذوها، حتى جاء اليوم  ولم تنجوا بياض الثلج من محاولة قتلها ولم يستطع الأقزام إنقاذها.

ونجحت الملكة في قتلها بعد أن تحايلت عليها وجعلتها تأكل تفاحة مسمومة، حتى فقدت وعيها وماتت.

The seven dwarfs mourned the death of Snow White and placed her in a glass coffin. They took turns guarding her every day until a prince came and found this glass coffin. He couldn’t take his eyes off the beautiful girl lying inside and gazed at her for so long that he fell in love with her.

The dwarfs pleaded with him to give him the coffin and to give them what they wanted, but they firmly refused his request, until they took pity on him and agreed.

حزن الأقزام السبعة على موت بياض الثلج وقاموا بوضعها في تابوت زجاجي، وقاموا بالتناوب على حراستها كل يوم إلى أن جاء أمير ووجد هذا التابوت الزجاجي ولم يستطع أن يرفع عينيه عن الفتاة الجميلة التي ترقد في داخله وأطال النظر بها حتى أحبها.

وتوسل الأقزام أن يعطوه هذا التابوت ويعطيهم ما يريدون، ولكنهم رفضوا طلبه بشدة، حتى أشفقوا عليه ووافقوا.

Snow White woke up, and the prince was happy, and they got married and lived a life full of happiness.
